Wildlife Sanctuaries in Goa

On this side of the state is also where you can find Goa’s only national park, which combines with one of the wildlife sanctuaries. Aside from the wildlife sanctuaries which can be a treat for bird watchers, Goa has one official bird sanctuary, located on Chorao Island. Included in this section among wildlife sanctuaries is also the Cumbarjua Canal. This is not an official “sanctuary” on its own, but this waterway is another spot in Goa that makes for good wildlife and bird sightings. If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll spot a crocodile!
